Resource record · publication gate

Access, versioning, and release materials.

Public metadata and methods can be inspected now. Downloadable tables and a version-bound API will appear only after the scientific, technical, and rights gates pass.

Planned public API

A stable query layer over a frozen release.

Responses should identify the dataset version, methodology version, as-of date, and provenance keys. Versioning, pagination, limits, error responses, and rate policy will be documented before deployment.

43.61 GiB · 594,727 files

This operational snapshot was measured on 30 July 2026within data/incoming. It includes raw source captures and changing intermediate work, and will not be served through GitHub Pages or the future API.

Future citation identity

One immutable release across paper, files, and service.

The preferred citation will identify authors, title, semantic version, release date, archival identifier or DOI, and access date. API responses, checksums, repository tags, and the manuscript will resolve to the same frozen version.

Current rights boundary

Visible does not mean open source.

Unless a file carries a separate license or public-domain statement, the project’s original website content, documentation, data products, and code remain all rights reserved. Publishing a repository or a web page does not itself grant an open-source or open-data license.

Candidate-layer replication sources are stored in the repository for inspection and future public access. They remain all rights reserved unless a later file-specific license states otherwise. Official U.S. government source material and archival imagery retain their own rights and attribution status.

Definition of release-ready

The download link appears only after every gate passes.

  1. Scientific closure

All included years and the global release pass fresh validation.

  2. Analytical specification

The product mapping, network model, formula, and sensitivity checks are frozen.

  3. Portable package

Tables, schema, examples, environment, and verification work off the original machine.

  4. Rights and privacy review

Licenses, attribution, redistribution, credentials, and non-public material are resolved.

  5. Version linkage

Git tag, checksums, archive or DOI, API release, and manuscript identify one immutable version.
